Best of 2017


2017 you’ve been an absolute cracker!  I honestly feel so incredibly lucky that this job allows me to meet some amazing characters and new friends along the way. A huge thank you to all my incredible couples for having the most epic celebrations this year! Here’s to you and to a healthy and happy 2018!

Siobhan and Zak | Edinburgh Zoo
Pandas, penguins, tigers, statue elephants, ghostly spirits, Texans in kilts! Siobhan and Zak flew all the way over from Texas to marry at the idillic Mansion House, in the grounds of Edinburgh Zoo. Laura and Ian | Lowson Church , Invercarse
I was so looking forward to Laura and Ian's wedding day after their pre wedding shoot we'd done a couple of months before. With a traditional church ceremony held in their hometown of Forfar at Lowson Church, then a short drive through to Dundee for the celebration held at The Invercarse Hotel.  I cannot recommend the amazing Rev. Karen Fenwick enough! She was such a legend with possibly the best service I've heard for quite some time. We even had a wee plan before the ceremony where she would duck and move herself out of shot for the first kiss! Thank you Karen! Bruce and Gill | Taypark House
Bruce and Gill's wedding day was an absolute scorcher! Blue skies and not a cloud in sight for the whole day! Not bad for Scotland at the start of April - please continue as the year goes on!Bruce and Gill, surrounded by their close friends and family were married at Barnhill St Margarets in Monifieth, then to Taypark House which is a hidden gem in my opinion; a stunning place to hold any reception.From start to finish there were so many little things that happened, from Gill nervously getting ready and how as soon as she saw Bruce she completely relaxed!
