Martin and Christina
You know when your at a wedding and you are just ecstatically happy for the couple!? Martin and Christina put a smile on everyone's faces as they tied the knot in the 'wee kirk' in the absolutely stunning surroundings at Glen Clova. Everyone was super happy and their was just such a great feeling.
I really am incredibly lucky to be able to call this my job, and Martin and Christina's wedding day didn't half make me realise it. Thanks everyone for a smashing day and all the best to you both Nina and Peaches! ;)

Baptiste and Mairi
Baptiste and Mairi what can I say!!... What an incredible wedding day! A day that you showed to everyone how much you love one another other, it was clear to see as soon as you saw each other in that incredibly stunning 'Abbatiale ' cathedral in Saint Florent le Viel.
Arriving early at the stunning ' Pali Briau ' where you both got ready. The sun was already up and had some serious heat! It was at this point that I was wishing I'd worn my shorts!
Your closest friends and family came a long way to see you tie the knot.
And it was a sweet mome ...

Kevin and Claire
Kevin and Claire's wedding day was held at the stunning Kinnetles Castle. It was your typical Scottish summer kind of a day! Rain in the morning, followed by severe gales to some gorgeous sunshine late in the evening! I arrived early and was greeted by Claire and the helpful staff to discuss the plan for the day. With the weather being so crazy everyone agreed to have an inside ceremony in the marque. The thing I loved most was that none of that mattered to both Kevin and Claire. They weren't going to let the weather get in the way of their big day. The day was a lot of fun, confetti played a big part, especially during the first dance! Both ...

Erwin and Joyce
Being asked to photograph a wedding day is always a great privilege. When Erwin and Joyce asked if I'd like to fly over to Holland and photograph their day I was completely blown away! The last time I saw Joyce was in New Zealand, way back in 2010! I flew out a few days before the day and stayed in their hometown of Gouda (Home of the famous cheese!) It was an awesome few days getting to hang out with the family and getting to know them a bit more before the day. I reckon Erwin and Joyce are the most chilled out couple I have ever met! The day was held at "Rufus aan het water" in the Northern part of Holland, an area called Friesland. Family ...

Emlyn and Kirsty
Recently I caught up with Emlyn and Kirsty on a gorgeous Sunday evening at the very picturesque Dunnottar Castle, near Stonehaven. Back in the 17th century, during the Jacobite rising the Scottish jewels were hidden at the very spot from Oliver Cromwells invading army. A wee history lesson there! The castle itself sits right on the edge of the north sea with a cliff edge all around. Tourists flock form all corners to see it! With it being evening we couldn't get into the grounds but that didn't matter too much. Before the night i'd only met Kirsty and was looking forward to meeting Emlyn and seeing them both together. They genuinely get on ...

Bruce and Gill
Bruce and Gill's wedding day was an absolute scorcher! Blue skies and not a cloud in sight for the whole day! Not bad for Scotland at the start of April - please continue as the year goes on!
Bruce and Gill, surrounded by their close friends and family were married at Barnhill St Margarets in Monifieth, then to Taypark House which is a hidden gem in my opinion; a stunning place to hold any reception.
From start to finish there were so many little things that happened, from Gill nervously getting ready and how as soon as she saw Bruce she completely relaxed! Uncle Jimmy's singing as the they signed the registrar; a voice that makes the h ...

Gavin and Julie
Gavin and Julie's wedding day was held at the stunning Fingask Castle, in Perthshire. I've known Gavin and his family since I was a wee lad where we both used to race motocross bikes over the country most weekends.
Fast forward almost 10 years and when both Gavin and Julie got in touch to ask if I could photograph their wedding day I was absolutely delighted.
The day itself couldn't have been anymore perfect, a truly happy wedding day and a real pleasure to be part of. Congratulations again Gavin and Julie, you both make a fantastic couple and I wish you all the best on your future together.
