Wedding photographer Forfar Dundee natural documentary fun relaxed

So this is me! Like most,  I always go for the usual smile and thumbs up to the camera! I’m really not that keen either when someone points a camera at me. I love getting out of my wee bubble exploring what our beautiful country has to offer. We’re so lucky that this in on our doorstep. I like coffee ( like every other photographer! even instant is fine with me!) but don’t have cute wee dog! A wee dog to go up the hills with would be pretty awesome – maybe someday soon.. When we get a dog he or she will definitely be getting a human name – like Geoffrey or Ethel!

I say we as my partner, Ailie and I live not a million miles away from Perth which is fine and central to Scotland. In the winter months, I love to go snowboarding, something I taught for a few years while travelling. Meeting new people every day was an amazing experience. While I was away travelling my camera came everywhere with me and quickly realised it was people through expression and personality that made the photographs.

Since coming home –  almost 8 years ago now, I’ve pursued my love for photographing people into what can only be described as the most satisfying, rewarding and honourable of jobs.  I have been incredibly fortunate to photograph destination weddings in Europe and would love to be part of your special day. Please say hello and check my availability here

Your wedding day is without doubt one of the most memorable days of your lives. Memorable for so many reasons.  Your closest family and friends will be there to celebrate with you, some of whom you may not have seen for years. My main focus and love for what I do is to unobtrusively capture the laughter, tears,  relationships and personalities there on the day. You want to look back on your day and not remember what I told you to do, instead remember exactly how you felt.   My approach page goes into more detail how I go about photographing your day. Have a look through and see if you can relate – if you can then it would be great to hear from you.

He was more like a friend we had known for years!
